Created in 2012 to foster contacts and support among its members and to consolidate the rich international networks of the school, the EHESS Alumni Association, a non-profit organization (covered by the law of July 1 1901), provides a space for exchange, meetings and discussions between members and all people interested in the issue of professionalization, and the promotion and influence of social sciences research.

The remit of the Association includes:

Maintaining and consolidating links within the EHESS alumni community, particularly among graduates and future graduates;

Supporting the professional integration of former students and graduates;

Providing advice and support to its members over the course of their professional careers;

Promoting the School, its image, and its research programs, and encouraging the dissemination of the social sciences to specialists and the general public.

Among its strategies for action, the EHESS alumni association organizes professional development workshops, publishes presentations of former students, creates networks for overseas collaboration and contacts, and organizes cultural events, conferences and visits.
