The Campus Condorcet, initiated in 2008 by EHESS, will be dedicated to research in humanities and social sciences, with facilities aimed at responding to the pedagogical, scientific, and digital challenges of the 21st century.

The campus will gather more than 100 research centers in the social sciences and the humanities, as well as a large number of graduate schools, supervising more than 4,600 PhD students. It aims at becoming an internationally renowned campus structured around 3 main objectives: uniting like-minded universities and institutes committed to shared projects; ensuring scientific discovery is at the service of societal needs of various territories; mobilizing cutting-edge technical and methodological tools capable of radically transforming research conditions across disciplines.

The Campus Condorcet will be located near one of the Paris airports (Roissy) and will have dense regional public transport links, it will also be equipped with a major documentary resources center, a conference venue, halls of residence for students and visiting researchers, among many other facilities.

Nearly 18,000 people will be be based on the campus, including:

  • 4,200 Researchers
  • 4,600 PhD students
  • 8,000 Bachelor and Master students
  • 900 administrative staff
